What are the reasons for the vibration of CNC machining centers?
What are the reasons for the vibration of CNC machining center? Large CNC machining centers generate vibration during processing, and the normal cutting process of the process system is disturbed and destroyed; vibration will not only significantly deteriorate the quality of the machined surface, but also shorten the life of CNC machining centers and tools. In order to solve the problem, it is first necessary to explore the reasons for the vibration of large CNC machining centers.
During low frequency vibration in turning, the workpiece system and tool holder system are usually vibrating; however, in most cases, the workpiece system is very vibrating. They move away or approach, creating equal and opposite forces and reactions.
During climb milling, the position of the gap between the lead screw and the nut changes, and the feed of the worktable is uneven, which will cause shock and vibration, which will affect the life of the machine tool and the tool and the surface roughness of the workpiece; on the other hand, climb milling When the cutting thickness is small, the cutting thickness becomes large, the load of the tool is also reduced, and the tool is smoother during processing. This is only done when finishing, but using climb milling when roughing. This is because the productivity of climb milling is high, which can guarantee the life of the tool. It may be the vibration caused by the system's own parameters, which is well known; the parameter setting of the closed-loop system is also poor, so the system may oscillate.
Forced vibration refers to the vibration caused by the action of the external periodic interference force, for example, due to the imbalance of the rotating parts of the machine tool, the centrifugal force generated after rotation is excited by the system, or the external vibration is transmitted to the process system through the foundation, so that the CNC The machining center process system produces forced vibration. There are two types of vibration sources for forced vibration: internal vibration sources from inside the machine tool and external vibration sources from outside the machine tool. There are many external vibration sources, but they are all transmitted to the machine tool through the foundation.
